I am a partner at the Montréal office of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg, in the Corporate/Commercial, Mergers & Acquisitions, Commercial Real Estate and Public-Private Partnerships practices. I am the President of the Jeunes Gens d'Affaires committee of the French Chamber of Commerce in Canada. I am also a member of the firm’s recruiting committee.
I have acted for Canadian and foreign private and public corporations in connection with Canadian and international transactions, including the acquisition, leasing and development of commercial and industrial real properties.
Representative Work:
- Acted for Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. and a major financial partner in the acquisition of the building located at 2020 University Street in Montréal, Québec.
- Acted for Bell Canada in connection with the acquisition of the hosting division of 6126472 Canada Inc. (dba Hypertec Availability Systems), Québec's leading top tier data hosting provider.
-Seconded to the legal department of SITQ (a subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec) for several months.
- Represented The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited in connection with its acquisition of the Windsor Station complex and other real estate assets in downtown Montréal.
- Advised consortiums bidding on the projects to build the new hospital center of the Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal as well as a new concert hall for the Montréal Symphony Orchestra, each in the form of public-private partnerships (PPP).
- Represented RES Canada in the awarding by Hydro-Québec Distribution of five wind farm energy projects representing a total capacity of 954 megawatts and a $2 billion investment.
- Acted for Amcor Limited on its sale of Amcor PET Packaging operations in several European and North African countries for approximately €430 million.
