My role is to work with the customer base and product units to create solutions for the playout application and to ensure that these multiple solutions are integrated and marketed together in the context of the application.

The playout application encompasses several Miranda product lines:
- Server / Master Control / Branding (Omnibus, Oxtel and Vertigo products)
- Playout monitoring (Kaleido and iControl PM products)
- Signal processing (Loudness control and audio processing, Master Control backup, up-conversion)

My responsabilities include:
- Market sizing and competitive analysis for playout
- Definition of market requirements and strategic roadmap for playout
- Envangelization of solutions and technology at various marketing events (trade-shows, user conferences etc...)
- Production of tools and marketing collaterals to help sell solutions: brochures, ROI calculators etc...

Avanquest Software is a world leading developer of personal and professional software, encompassing a large number of categories including Mobility, Utilities and Multimedia.

The Avanquest group achieved sales of €88.2 million in 2009/10 and has 500 employees worldwide, including nearly 150 engineers in Research and Development distributed among France, China, the United States and Canada.

As product manager, I was overseeing the development of a photo editing software product.
- Managed the requirements and roadmap of the product
- Coordinated the development and QA efforts with other R&D offices (China, France)
- Promoted the product to our subsidiary in the US

Miranda Technologies (TSX: MT) develops, manufactures and markets high-performance hardware and software for the television broadcast industry. Miranda's solutions are purchased by content creators, broadcasters, specialty channels and television service providers to enable and enhance the transition to a complex multi-channel digital and high definition television (HDTV) broadcast environment.

As product manager for the Workflow and Playout product unit, I was overseeing a broadcast product line, that encompassed various applications ranging from Master Control switching to branding graphics.
Provided complete lifecycle management, from specification to market launch, including sales support.

- Revenue analysis and forecasts
- Definition of roadmap
- Competitive analysis
- Monitoring of project schedules
- Merge / integration of product lines (post the NVision acquisition)

- Increased traditional Master control revenues by 25% in 2009
- Launched a channel branding processor that exceeded annual forecasts by almost 100% in 2010

- Specified and recommended the data bus architecture to be used on the Radarsat-2 antenna (command & telemetry bus)
- Designed part of the digital circuitry which was implemented on the antenna columns
