• Synthesized and characterised new hydrogen-bonded rosette nanotubes bound to polypeptides to tune their self-assembly into nanofibers and promote to improve cell adhesion and growth under the Genomics and Health Initiatives/National Institute for Health programs.

• Synthesized model polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons and, for the first time, studied their self-assembly to understand asphaltene aggregation and fouling behaviour during bitumen processing.
