I am a project change expert with a strong business architecture background & always looking for opportunities in organizations going through significant change or with need to improve systems and processes. I am Prosci Certified in change management and I continue to work towards a better understanding of how people experience & move through change.
I am present, engaged, I take the time to really listen & understand. I have worked with organizations going through tremendous change & know what it takes to bring an organization from a present state in modernization efforts to a future desired state. As a project manager I have done a lot of my own business analysis work, but more importantly I have done a lot of organizational change management work & through time have come to understand what it takes to be successful from not just from a technical perspective, but the human perspective of change & how that affects the success of projects.
I understand change from transitional & transformational perspectives, the human and mindset elements & how they have to be addressed for projects to be successful. I continually work to increase my knowledge as it pertains to leadership & change (both formally and on my own time). I work to be a conscious change leader & work interactively with my teams & the clients I serve. I seek clarity and synchronized understanding for myself, the team and the clients.
I actively use PMI methodology for project management; as well work to make projects more efficient by analyzing tasks & grouping similar tasks where it makes sense to streamline work. I follow Prosci methodology for addressing change management and use advanced concepts from the "Change Leader’s Roadmap" for transitional & transformational change.
