2011 - 2013
• Monitoring of the safety management system used by the company and its associated procedures;
• Managing & mentoring HSE team of 14 Safety Technician/Officer;
• Providing Interface with clients/contractors on HSE Issues;
• Managing HSE filing system and record controls;
• Issuing the weekly, monthly and statistics reports;
• Carrying out HSE performance measurement;
• Supporting the HSE training program and monitoring employees training;
• Organize in case of work accidents/incidents a full investigation of the event; prepare flash reports finalized to the identification of corrective measure to avoid reoccurrence;
• Holding weekly meetings on Health, Safety, Environment & Security topics with site supervision;
• Carry out regular inspection on site with a view to identifying any potential hazards;
• Participating with clients/contractors, to periodical HSE walkabouts, Inspections and Audits on site prepare and distribute all the relevant reports, action plans, verify the follow up and the timely execution of the corrective action;
• Organize, coordinate and directly participate in the HSE Training activities on site;
• Prepare and organize emergency drill on site;
• Liaise with client and local authorities for waste disposal, inspections..etc.
ENTREPOSE PROJETS
- HSE Supervisor
2009 - 2011
- Provide Daily report to HSE Manager and investigate all daily near misses at site,
- Ensure the application of working procedures and safe working practices fully understood and effectively applied;
- Daily check that Subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with all the HSE applicable procedures, regulation and standards, promoting all necessary action to ensure that the said procedures and regulations are observed,
- Interventions in special operations for lifting heavy packages and oversized (lift plans, supervision of operations)
- Monitoring and supervision risk activities: welding, lifting and handling, working at heights and on scaffolding, work in confined spaces, maintenance, electrical work
- Assist with accident investigations and advice on remedial actions to prevent reoccurrence of similar incidents
- Daily workplace supervision
- Carry out daily HSE inspections.
- Ensure first aid, fire and security facilities are sufficient and locally available and provide training where necessary.
- Maintain good housekeeping conditions.
- Ensure that all necessary barricades and sign are in place around opening and hazardous areas.
